Export a schema

DataFactory can write a schema's CREATE TABLE statements for another database, translated to the dialect you choose.

Save schema

  1. On a connection card choose Save full schema, or on a virtual data set card click Save schema for just its tables.
  2. Pick the Source, Schema and Target dialect: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2 or SAP HANA.
  3. Choose a File format (SQL or JSON) and click Generate schema.
  4. Check the Schema preview, then copy or download it.
